This document is written in good faith and kept current with how the studio actually operates. It is provided for transparency, not as legal advice; for a binding interpretation, please consult qualified counsel.

About these terms

linwong.com is operated by Cloudless Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 29 636 444 463), an Australian company trading as Lin Wong. The site presents the work of the artist Shirleen Andrea Wong: original, one-of-a-kind abstract paintings and a small set of limited-edition prints. Prices shown on the site are in Australian dollars (AUD). By using the site or sending an inquiry, you agree to these terms.

How purchases work

Buying an original is a conversation, not an instant checkout. There is no automated cart or card payment on the site today. Instead, you send an inquiry about a piece; the studio replies, usually within 48 hours, with availability, a quote, and the details to complete the purchase — typically by invoice and bank transfer. Card payment may be offered in future.

An inquiry is not a binding order, and submitting one does not reserve a work. A sale is formed only when the studio confirms the piece is available to you and payment has been received.

Availability and pricing

Most works are unique, and prints are produced in limited editions, so a piece may sell or become unavailable between your inquiry and our confirmation. Prices are in AUD and are confirmed in writing at the time of quote. Any applicable taxes, duties, and shipping are handled per order and set out in your quote before you commit.

Certificate of Authenticity

Each original painting is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity recording the title, year, medium, and dimensions, signed by the artist. It is your record that the work is an original by Shirleen Andrea Wong (Lin Wong).

Shipping

We ship worldwide, tracked, with packaging chosen to suit the work. Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the work is dispatched — in transit, the work travels at your risk. Shipping insurance is available at your option and we can arrange it on your behalf at cost; we recommend it, particularly for higher-value works. Lead times vary by destination and by whether a piece ships from the studio or from a current location. We confirm the method, cost, and any insurance in your quote.

Returns

All sales are final. Each work is an original or a limited edition, chosen deliberately, so we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind — once a piece is yours, it stays with you. Risk of loss or damage in transit passes to you on dispatch, as set out under Shipping. None of this limits any consumer guarantees or other rights that apply to you and cannot lawfully be excluded — for example, where a work is faulty or was materially not as described, contact us at lin@linwong.com.

Intellectual property

The artist retains the copyright and all reproduction rights in every work, including after it is sold. Buying a physical work transfers ownership of that object only; it does not grant any right to reproduce, license, or commercially exploit the image. The content of this site — including images and text — is the property of the studio and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Limitation of liability

We take care to describe each work accurately, including its colour, size, and condition, though screens vary and small natural variations are part of original and hand-finished work. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the site and any sale is limited to the price paid for the work concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under Australian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have authority over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. The terms in force at the time of your purchase are the ones that apply to it.
