Corners of Joy

This work was inspired by a photograph of one of my dogs. I have been reflecting on what brings me joy and noticing it more in my everyday surroundings.

Rather than depicting the dog literally, I translated its presence into an abstract impression through colour, texture, and movement. The piece reflects how something familiar and ordinary can hold deep emotional meaning, becoming a way for me to recognise and express the joy already present in my everyday life.
